A few weeks ago I had the most awesome day in London on my week off with Jake! These are just some of the awesome pictures he got, so I thought I’d share.

One of the highlights for me was obviously going to check out the recently opened Alexander Wang flagship store. It’s literally the most beautiful thing, I can promise you that. I left with a broken heart.

This bag which I kindly got given to try out from LYDC has become my saviour. It’s such a perfectly sized backpack, I literally use it every single day. I’ve never been so grateful for a bag in my life! It’s came so in handy. I was also informed that LYDC are now stocked in Debenhams online store. Pretty awesome!

Talk soon,

What a mare … 3 weeks before uni starts again my laptop goes and breaks on me! Luckily, I had just put all of my blog pictures and university work onto a memory card hours before. I’m finally back on my nice shiny new laptop running all smoothly and editing like a gem!

This outfit is what I wore to the Southampton Bloggers’ Meet Up held at Revolutions Bar a few weeks back. I have plenty of photographs to go through and my little lady who runs Southampton Bloggers will be uploading them all at some point (www.anniewritesbeauty.co.uk).

The shirt I obviously fell in love with the moment I lay eyes onto it in H&M last payday…  and the shoes I’d been eyeing up at work for quite a while, I was shocked they still had my size in stock to be quite honest haha. The countdown until uni begins again has begun! After a summer of being full adult (full time work, paying rent, bills out of hard works money) I literally can’t wait to get back to university, part time work, cheer and being surrounded by my friends again. Not long at all!

| Hat – Missguided | Bodysuit – c/o Rare London | Coulettes, Watch – Primark | Boot – Dr Martens | Sunglasses – Ebay |

See I told you I’d been keeping up with all this didn’t I aye! I shot this outfit the other day based around this gorgeous lacey one-piece that Rare London so kindly contacted me about. The quality of it is suprisingly amazing, it’s pretty thick but really silky. I actually wore it out the weekend I got it too, all night (also no need for bra) and it was still in its shape and comfortable as ever.

I decided to pair it with my favourite trousers of the mo, my Primark coulettes (currently reduced to £3 go grab them now). Then I couldnt resist throwing on my Dr Marten’s with how into them I’ve been again recently and my trust old leather jacket and fedora!

Back to reality working Mon-Friday for now …

I did mention that a couple weeks ago I went to Electric Daisy Carnival, a festival held in Milton Keynes Bowl and I’m finally writing about it yes haha. It was pretty awesome – definitely worth it if any of you were thinking of going next year. This year they had 3 tents and bought over a new massive stage that looked so so sick. We missed the main stage at then end which I’m so gutted about but the day really was great.

I picked up this dress from Primark the week before which I’d been eyeing up for a while, it’s a colour and not a shade of black or white which was very unusual for me haha. I grabbde the choker and bodychain too just to throw over it! I wore a lacey black kimono too, but I didn’t get many photographs of the day as I was too busy enjoying it!

I went and grabbed some blog photographs with one of my new housemates yesterday and I’m really enjoying getting back into the swing of things… talk sooon mwah

Surprise I found more old blog pictures I forgot about! These are from a while back. On the day I shot my magazine editorial from my final project at university, me and my friend, Nichole, decided to grab a couple of blog pictures. It was so handy having some of both our wardrobes there so we mixed it all up haha.

The location here where I shot my editorial is so pretty. That strange pyramid building (I think it’s a hotel) is so nice as well as all the ruins we’re actually shooting on. I love being down here in Southampton!

University Year 1 Work & Results

So as I posted a while back, my first year at university has come to an end. Yesterday I found out my results for the year – 2:1! I realise that I couldv’e done better had I put in the effort all the way through as I did towards the end and next year I’m heading for that First! I thought I’d finally post all of the work I did for you guys to see.

You can see how much I’ve developed and how much my confidence has grown from my first project to my last! As well as these practicals we had to write a 2000 word essay on a topic of choice, mine was how Skinhead style has influenced modern mainstream fashion.

Hair & Makeup – Advertising / Editorial (Honestly not too proud of this)

Silly me again, realised I completely forgot to upload the rest of the outfit pictures from my day in Bournemouth last month. So many lovely pictures thanks to someone I met at university (Jake White, I appreciate the fab photography so much ♥).  I’ve been a busy bee since then, still working full time, started to sort out cheerleading committee things etc! I did go to Electric Daisy Carnival last weekend too which was absolutely incredible. But, that’ll be another post.

This jacket I’ve had from H&M for literally about 2 years and after forgetting to bring it to university for ages, I cannot stop wearing it. I’ve even had someone say it’s funny watching me try all my jackets on with an outfit because they know exactly which one I’ll end up in… It’s the perfect level of a nice thin summer jacket but thick enough for when it gets hold. These sandals though, oh my. Last SS season at H&M I picked up the all black ones which you can read about here and I’ve been saying ever since that they need the bring out the all white pair and this year was I pleased? Yes, yes I was.

I’m all settled into my new house and living arrangements now in prep for second year of university – which by the way I managed to pass with a high 2.1 (yay)! For now, more sleep…
